CONTRACT SUM : £896.00 + vat & £8,681.00 + vat
St Pancras Church is Grade II* Listed, dating back to C14th and set at the foot of the South Downs, in the charming village of Kingston.
In February 2014, the tower clock suffered storm damage following high winds, which partially detached the clock face and disconnected the minute / hour mechanism.
Whilst carrying out the repair it was decided to restore the clock face which was in need of re-painting and the numerals in need of re-gilding. At the same time maintenance was carried out to the tower by Flintman, which included re-pointing and a new stone drip moulding at the junction of the roof and tower, on the south side.
The clock now looks nicely restored in the context of the churchyard and the village.
